as part of the group exhibition HORS D’OEUVREAssociation Hors Jeu, Formerly 27 boulevard de Genève Toulouse
Influenced by the world of video games, the artist's installation Hors jeu immersion in worlds that reflect our reality. Using the codes of video games, the viewer, controller in hand, initiates this experience in a familiar space.
This first space is a 3D reconstruction of the exhibition space, the premises of the Hors Jeu association.
The second world the player is invited to enter is a city of images. The player wanders through the space, passing through various architectural photographs. Modelled on the previous DunatonThe player, wearing headphones, experiences the audio integration of each building, from which these media recordings recount its history.
The third and final playground is a topography created from a cerebral MRI scan, with the viewer surveying this unconsciously familiar landscape. An electronic sound, played during one of the association's events, overhangs the zone, inviting the spectator to rediscover the atmosphere of the first venue, Hors Jeu.
