Dunaton, plunges us into a city whose future is in limbo.
On Google Street View, Mickaël travels from city to city, selecting buildings that have something in common with our reality: their state of destruction caused by natural disasters. He takes these digital images and gives them a new perspective, bringing them together in an entirely digital universe that suggests a form of epitaph. An American restaurant in the town of Paradise, California, a shack on the beach in Palu, Indonesia, a building in the city of Toulouse, France... they all come together in this space where the present and the virtual intersect.
We are confronted with a non-place where temporality is not determined, giving meaning to the notion of the interworld(s).
